La Luna Cafe

La Luna Cafe is a cute (maybe all Portland brunch spots are cute?) new brunch spot that opened in the recently closed Sympatica location.  It's counter service and was only moderately busy when I visited on a recent Friday for lunch.

I was in the mood for eggs benedict and since they had three different options on the menu, I expected that it probably was good choice.  I only had to choose between the Irish, Salmon Pastrami, or Veggie.  After some deliberation, I went with the Veggie.

The hollandaise was very neutral, not overly lemony, and was nice with the broccoli raab and Spanish sofrito.  I wouldn't have minded a little ham too, but pretty good for just veggies.
