Beta 5 - Vancouver, BC

Beta 5 is in a really unlikely location.  When I looked at the map, I thought it might actually be in the middle of the train yard, surrounded by train tracks.  And so, late in the afternoon, we decided to walk there, and as the area got more industrial, I was thinking, are we really going to find cream puffs at the end of this?   But sure enough, we found it among many warehouses in a newish looking building with a number of small businesses.

Their specialty is cream puffs, so I ordered one of the seasonal flavors and one of the regular flavors.  The seasonal was Douglas Fir and had the cutest little chocolate mushroom sticking out of it.  The Douglas Fir flavor was very subtle, but vaguely fir-y.  I also ordered the Malted Chocolate Cream puff which had a beautiful chocolate glaze on top and fabulous chocolate cream inside.

This is mostly a take-away kind of place, but there is a small counter to stand and eat, if needed.

They also make specialty chocolates with many interesting flavors, so I bought a box to take home with me.
