One of my favorite meals of the fall was at Phuket Cafe in NW Portland. They have a really cute outdoor seating area and the food was fun, tasty, and surprising.

Pandan cheese roti were chewy and fun with a sweet dipping sauce.

Thai style albacore was fresh with flavorful with mint and peanut brittle.

The turmeric curry is normally served with prawn, but it was no issue for them to serve it vegetarian with cauliflower and mushrooms for me to avoid the shellfish and I usually love curry, but it was a very tasty curry.

And they had butterfly pea kakigori, which I could not resist for dessert. Partly because I’m slightly obsessed with butterfly pea and also because I’d never had kakigori before.
