Foo Asian Street Food - Victoria, BC

Foo Asian Street Food - Victoria, BC

While figuring out where to eat in Victoria, BC, nearly everyone mentioned Foo Asian Street Food, so the first night in town, we headed right over for dinner. It’s a really tiny place - counter service and maybe a dozen seats total.

It happened to be exceedingly crowded the night we went for dinner, with a line nearly out the door, but somehow by the time our food was ready, we had four seats together. Many people were coming in for take-out.

The menu spans Asia with the most enticing noodles and curries from all across the continent. There were a number of options that sounded really yummy to me (butter chicken, red lentil dahl…), but in the end, I decided on beef and broccoli chow mein.

Along with crispy spring rolls, which I always enjoy, the noodle bowl was tasty and huge. Well seasoned with a good amount of broccoli, there was plenty to take home to eat another night.
