Amazon Spheres - Seattle
What a difference a year makes…October 2019 I spent a lovely fall weekend in Seattle, and I got to tour the pretty cool Amazon Spheres.
The Spheres are part of the Amazon campus in downtown Seattle for Amazon employees. Most of the time it’s closed to the public, but open up by timed tickets two Saturdays each month (or used to, and hopefully will again…) for public tours.
Understory is a small presentation, around the corner from the Spheres entry on the construction, that is free and open to anyone.
The Spheres are essentially a huge work lounge crossed with botanic garden. There’s a massive green wall with walkways criss-crossing the space. Along with lots of greenery and some water features.
There are places to relax.
And places to work.
Once you are inside, you can wander or relax as long as you desire.
