Cup & Bar

Cup & Bar on NE MLK combines Trailhead Coffee Roasters and Ranger Chocolate Company.  I wanted to check them out for the chocolate side of things.  As I am not a coffee drinker, the coffee shops that are most appealing to me have something other than coffee, like interesting chocolate or great homemade chai.  Cup & Bar had a large coffee menu and drinking chocolate.  I ordered the drinking chocolate and I what I got was:  a cup of chocolate, a cup of whipped cream and a cup of sparkling water.  

I've never been served sparkling water as a palate cleanser (at least that's what I think it was for...), but it worked pretty well.  The chocolate was pretty intense, but flavorful.  The sweetness of the whipped cream balanced the chocolate really well.

Cup & Bar also does chocolate tours and tastings.  I think I need to go back sometime and check that out.
