Churchgate Station
I love Indian food and I love Bollywood Theater, so I was super excited to finally eat at Churchgate Station, the newish ticketed supper club next door to Bollywood Theater on SE Division.
It’s a relatively small space with 3 long tables. All the food is served family style, broken out into four courses, so it’s easy to go back for seconds on the most tasty courses.
Our appetizer course were potato and carrot samosas with four chutneys - cilantro, tomato, eggplant, and apple.
The salad course was a very pretty combination of roasted root veggies with pomegranate and yogurt.
For the main course, creamy chicken kofta curry, along with gingery greens, and basmati rice with raita.
And I was pretty full at this point, but dessert was rice pudding with pears and masala chai. I don’t love rice pudding, but the pears were a nice fruity compliment to the creamy rice.
