SeaSweets Poke

I first discovered poke in the Foodland deli on Kauai and have loved it ever since.  Simple, flavorful, and fresh, it doesn't get much better than that.  Lately the poke craze has been working its way across the country.  SeaSweets Poke is Portland's newest and second option on Hawthorne.  SeaSweets has adopted the "Chipotle" style "build your own" method.  Working your way down the line, first choose the base, rice or kale salad, then choose your protein, 2 sides, and toppings.

My bowl was kale salad, albacore with cilantro, scallion, chili oil, and black vinegar tamari, then I chose seaweed salad, and cabbage slaw for my 2 sides.  For toppings, I was a bit stumped, as there were a lot of options, but I ended up with furikake and chili oil.  It was a bit spicy, but everything tasted very good, and it was a pretty wholesome lunch.
