Pollo Norte

Pollo Norte is a simple concept that debuted to enthusiastic crowds and regular sell-outs.  It's a pretty smart concept, and I always drool over any style of juicy chicken turning in a rotisserie oven when I see it.  And this is even better, if you like chicken and Mexican food.  The Mexican style rotisserie chicken comes with roasted cabbage, homemade tortillas and salsa.  And then you can decide which sides you want.

The chicken is super tender and the handmade tortillas make a pretty good taco, with a few pieces of chicken and some combination of the flavorful salsas.  The two tortillas that came with the meal went too quickly, I would have liked more.  The beans and rice were good too.  

Now they've expanded to a second location on NE Glisan, so it's easier to Mexican rotisserie chicken whenever you're in the mood.
