Please Louise
In what used to be an pretty uninviting industrial part of NW, Please Louise opened in June 2016. There's a huge, fancy New Seasons and Besaw's is also on the same block. And a lot of construction is still happening, so who knows what else will pop up.
Every time a new pizza place open, I try it hopefully and am usually disappointed. I am always in search of tasty pizza and find that usually it's pretty forgettable, the sauce and topping are okay, but the crust has no flavor. I want a really well rounded pizza that has lots of flavor. And so I am in search of flavorful pizza crust, and that is the reason that Ken's Artisan Pizza is my favorite.
And so, I stopped at Please Louise for dinner before my choir rehearsal. To offset the carbs and cheese, I started with a salad: butter lettuce with green goddess and fried chickpeas. I liked the chickpeas, but they were hard to get my fork into at the same time as the lettuce, so I had to alternate between lettuce and chickpeas.
I ordered the Margherita pizza. It was a little bigger than I was expecting and I ended up eating half and taking the rest for lunch the next day. I really liked it though. The crust was flavorful and crispy and the sauce had a nice flavor.
