Heart Pizza

Heart Pizza recently opened in SW Portland.  It's a new restaurant with two locations, so far, by the same owners as Little Big Burger and Blue Star Donuts.  The pizza is Neopolitan-style and they put in a special oven that is supposed to bake the pizza in 90 seconds.  They also donate proceeds from each pizza to charity.

I ordered the Margarita and it definitely came out fast.  The eat-in space is pretty small, only a couple small tables.  The crust was well charred (maybe a bit too much for me), but I didn't think the crust had a lot of flavor otherwise.  The red sauce was very flavorful, I would have like a little more cheese and it was a bit salty.

So overall, it was an okay pizza, but I didn't love it.
