Burger Stevens

Burger Stevens is a newish food cart at the Hillsdale Food Park.  It caught my attention, because the owner, originally from Rochester, NY, wanted to make a soft serve ice cream worthy of upstate NY.  I also being from upstate NY, enjoy great soft serve (and burgers), so I went to check it out on what may have been one of the last nice days of this fall.

I'd never been to Hillsdale Food Park before.  It's pretty small and right next to Wilson High School, so there is lots of school parking and almost no parking for everyone else.  

I got the cheeseburger and vanilla soft serve.  There was no line, so it came out quickly.  The burger was a very manageable size, more on the small side, but really the right size (for me at least, so that you don't feel like you ate a burger for the rest of the afternoon).  It was juicy, but not overly beefy, and fully cooked.  The vanilla soft serve was creamy and vanilla-ey and it was pretty good.  I may still be partial to my favorite soft serve stand in King Ferry, NY, but that is 3,000 miles away...
