Is there anything to do in ATL?
The answer is no, not really, except for eating and walking. It’s a huge airport, so if you are trying to get your 10,000 steps you’ve come to the right place. It’s true there is a ton of art throughout the airport, so as you walk, there is plenty to see. Like this flying corn in Terminal E.
And this ceiling in the walkway between terminals A and B.
And these pitcher plants hanging on the wall in Terminal E.
And when you get tired of walking, there’s just about any chain restaurant you can name in the airport in one of the terminals, but if you are looking for something a bit fancier, head to One Flew South in Terminal E.
I was there for a late lunch, before the international terminal got really busy later in the afternoon, and it looked like most people were ordering sushi, but I decided to go for something more substantial, as I wasn’t sure when I would have my next opportunity for food. So I ordered the chicken with pimento cheese grits and brussels sprouts. The chicken was just okay, but the pimento cheese grits were absolutely fabulous, almost like a tater tot, but not as crispy.
