Public Coast Brewing - Cannon Beach, OR

Public Coast Brewing has been open in Cannon Beach for about a year now.  During my many trips to Cannon Beach, I've tried a number of the restaurants in town.  After discovering a long line at Pelican Brewery, we settled on Public Coast at the North end of town.

It's counter service and features mainly burgers.  I found the beers we sampled to be too hoppy for me, but the house brewed root beer was pretty good.

My favorite part of this meal was the onion rings.  They were really good, substantial and actually felt heavy when I picked them up, and crispy and flavorful.  The coating stayed on while eating them, which was great.  The burger was just okay.  It was massive and juicy, but overall didn't have a lot of flavor.
